Keep the home fires burning

Acrylic on canvas, 16" × 16"

Home is where children play and roses bloom. Where a candle keeps silent vigil and the family keeps the home fires tended in anticipation of an absent love’s safe return. We all have a person definition of what "home" means, memories of moments shared with loved ones, the absence of things desired.

Original acrylic painting by Seattle artist Matthew Holloway.
